- Answering all emergency (9-1-1) and non-emergency calls for services from the public
- Provision of Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) service, including possible Pre-Arrival Instructions (PAI) on all calls for emergency medical services
- Dispatch of all Fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) calls to appropriate units within the jurisdiction of customer agencies
- Tracking the status of all Fire and EMS units assigned for duty within the customer agencies
- All administrative support functions associated with customer agency filed operations, including response to calls for additional support, documentation of unit responses, fulfillment of special documentation requests, maintenance of policies and procedures, and liaison with other agency communications centers for interoperability purposes.
